Veterans steer clear!!! We were attempting to buy a home with a VA loan, working with Tawna at Universal Lending. All through the process things were supposedly moving along just fine. Three days before we were scheduled to sign closing documents we received a call from Tawna, and she told us that the VA had denied our loan. It was devastating. Long story short, we promptly left Universal Lending and called Kamber Kelly at LendUS. Kamber saved our deal and got us our rightly earned VA loan!! Turns out the VA NEVER DENIED US. Tawna and Universal Lending were lying to us to cover up mistakes that they had made. In fact, the VA had not even received our application. Thank God we left this deceitful company and found a much better one because otherwise we wouldn’t have the beautiful home we have now. Watch out for this business!!

WORST EXPERIENCE BY FAR. My fiancé applied over phone with lender Brian and was instantly told we were approved. (YAY!) So we start looking immediately because we were given the go ahead and the process was apparently all done. Let me just say this is our first time buying a house, so we don’t know much about the process and we were TRUSTING this man to help us along our new journey. Shame on him.. because Brian took advantage of our knowledge and lied to us! We house shopped and fell in love and wrote out on offer and waited for Brian to send over our pre-approval letter just for him too say that he never actually got to filling out all of our personal information and we weren’t really pre-approved yet!!! I’ll also mention you can’t get ahold of this man ever!! It takes him 6 hours to answer one simple question. He has put my family and children on the back burner and lied about our pre-approval. He is NOT doing his job at all. He is very rude in tone and very lazy. I’m just so appalled we dealt with him SO long just disrespecting us every day. He just kept saying “you’ll know tomorrow asap “ for a week straight!?! We’re are just very sad and don’t understand why he felt he could lead us on and lie to us giving us an $xxx,xxx amount and then having us house shop for it to be all a lie?? Such an unprofessional business I would never recommend him or the company to anyone. We will be taking this further with someone higher up.
