terrible customer service! You call in and it takes forever to get a human on the phone. I had a laps in insurance for a couple months. Got insurance on the vehicle and now they want to charge me $1,700 for the laps. I could see what a normal premium would be but $1,700?! Sounds like a shakedown for more money. If I were you I would look into borrowing from a loan shark, you might have a better experience. Zero stars, would not recommend

I LOVE HZCU! They go above and beyond to help you. I love that Butte has a branch, the closest one to me used to be Missoula. Cyndi Faulkner has been top notch. Couldn’t recommend them more!

Great Customer Service! Out of every financial institution I have used, this is by far the most friendly yet professional. It is a great feeling when you can walk in and they know your name and can pull up your accounts quickly. Any low reviews due to loans is not a reflection of the institution, but rather a reflection of the individuals credit score. Thanks again HZCU! You rock!

I have a tremendously positive experience with everyone at Horizon. They friendly, helpful, professional and timely. Cindy Bernhardt in Butte is great and so is Monica in Spokane!

Do not bank with Horizon, under any circumstances. Horizon Credit Union is the most corrupt bank I have ever worked with in my life. I've been charged double overdraft fees multiple times with my checking account. If you have family with accounts there, they will literally steal money from their accounts that are not actually associated with yours to cover balances as they see fit. And on my auto loan with them, they keeping tacking additional insurance that even they have admitted is not necessary, to the tune of nearly $10000 in additional charges, on a $40000 loan. This has been ongoing for several years now, and will include a report to the Better Business Bureau and a possible lawsuit as well eventually. The purpose of this review is is to warn others to stay away from this corrupt business.

The Horizon employees at the Butte Branch are always helpful and friendly. They know me by name, and it's a pleasure to deal with people like Kim and Shannon!
