Never in my life have I ever dealt with a financial institution that just blatantly does whatever they want with their customers money with zero explanation. I have had at LEAST 5 deposits/checks/withdrawals over my time here that they decide to just freeze just because. “You’ve never had a transaction with this party so we are pausing the deposit”. Okay?? What business is it of yours who the parties are involved with my transactions? I had to put down a down payment for an apartment this weekend in 72 hours or I’d lose the price. Of course, my last two paychecks were “pending” like they had been for the past 5 days. Didn’t go through until I called them, and then it magically went through. Classic. Hopefully if you have an account here you don’t run into any emergencies because that will certainly be the day they decide to draw your name out of the “which transactions should we make as difficult as humanly possible today” bucket.

When did MFCU become Wells Fargo? Insane overdraft fees over and over, will not reverse even though money was immediately in the account to cover the fees. Not a community friendly bank, thanks for helping our holidays be a little worse.

Hands down the best credit union or bank in town. Friendly staff that takes care of all your needs quickly and efficiently. Need a car loan? Go here. Need a home loan? Again go here. I really hate banks but totally enjoy Montana federal credit union.
