I will say the process of the loan was fast and good and Debra was good. What bothers me is you can be 10 mins late and they are calling you as if you haven’t made a payment in 6 months. I was a day late due to canceling my direct pay and I simply forgot it’s not due on Friday per usual. Dana called me and wouldn’t let me off the then the manager spoke to me as if I was very insignificant. The lack of understanding and wanting to cut you off to tell you you are wrong is rude. I understand you are doing your job and as always I made my payment but the way I was spoken to was simply unnecessary

I agree rates are very high! I cringe when I saw the rate. Damn near passed out!! They loan to folks that are struggling. I would not borrow from them if I was able to borrow from a traditional bank because of their rates. But, hey, that's my fault. They are a sub-prime lender, (meaning they lend to folks with bad or fair credit). They seem to be nice people here. I have not had any issues. I guess if I paid late or not make payments, they may have an issue with that. Just like if someone didn't pay you back, you may have an issue with them. just my thoughts!

Please consider going elsewhere. They prey on anyone with poor or average credit. I have been working with One Main for a few months now (a few too many) and any way they can make my life hell, they've found a way. It started out poorly the second I walked in the office door. I was greeted after a few moments and let someone know I had a quote -accepted- online, which meant absolutely nothing to them. They still had to do tons of paperwork, and the amount that I was given online was far higher than the amount that I was given in the office. Once I finally got an amount, they wanted to take pictures of the car IN PERSON, which was unheard of by the car salesman. I wouldn't have had a problem with this if it was all done the same day. Nope, this had to take about 2 weeks out of my life of working with these people and waiting to hear back on when I can bring the car of my choice in to take pictures and get it ready for paperwork to be done. Once I had all the paperwork done, I signed up for Autopay, which, let me warn you, DO NOT DO. Since starting my loan, they have charged me over $128 in fees from my bank in one single month and its humanly impossible to contact their customer service to let them know what's going on, complain, or get anything taken care of other than make a payment with a robot. You sure could go in, but they aren't open on weekends, which just adds to the list of problems One Main has. Car Dealerships are open on weekends... As I've said, seek. business. elsewhere.
