We worked with Mahlet Mengesha during our time with Caliber Home Loan. Mahlet was absolutely amazing during this whole process and she made sure we always knew what was going on. She was quick to answer questions and concerns. Finding a nice home was a lot easier with her leading us through everything. I highly recommend working with her!

Communication and correct information is key. I felt like getting in touch with Julia and her team was not a priority for them and several times I had to call continuously to get them to answer or even communicate with us. Our realtor also experienced a huge lack of communication from Caliber. This was our first time buying a home, and I spent countless hours calling and reminding Julias team to do things for me. Julia her self is very nice but seems to be too busy to handle what she has going on. Her assistant is new and seems to need a better understanding of the job she is in. Questions were pushed to her that she could not answer. I found myself relying on my realtor for info that I should have got from Caliber. I also sent information to them several times, that they would then ask for again. In the end the paper work was done incorrectly, resulting in me needing to go last minute for an additional check. This could have been avoided with a small quality check from her team. I hate to leave a bad review when I am so happy with my home and the rest of the experience. I just want people to know before they begin to work with this team, that getting info from them is very frustrating and down right impossible a lot of the time.

I was absolutely thankful and pleased with the personal service experience provided by Julia Woods. I know I was not her only customer but she made me feel like I was. Even while under the weather she worked tirelessly to get my loan to the closing table when she should have been getting some rest. Thank you Julia for personal care and attention you provided.

Caliber Home Loans is great until you need something. I wanted to refinance my house when interest rates were lower and they were not interested in being timely or to keep me as a customer. Said i better call "corporate" as they may can help me out. Tried calling corporate to begin with and they never responded. They're like any other mortgage company, toss you to the side once you're a customer.
