I laid a coin ring away and wanted to reverse the layaway. They refused and proceeded to hang up on me twice when I was trying to discuss the situation, very rude and disrespectful. I am ion a fixed income, impulsively purchased the ring and called within 3 days to cancel, this is within the law in NC. They refused to do so and treated me horribly. I decided to slowly pay for the ring then try to sell it. I have been doing business with them for about ten years, however after this ordeal is over I will never do business with them again.

Bought a $2200 Whirlpool refrigerator here for $600. Fair prices on jewelry and tools. This is the only pawn shop I’ll do business at. The pawn shop on Main Street in Forest City have heavy conservative Republican views and have been extremely rude if you’re not a regular customer. You’re better off doing your business at BD.

Called to ask a few questions about inventory and the guy who answered was down right rude and not friendly at all. I thanked him anyways for his time and he hung up on me. If they act like this over the phone I can only imagine how they run their business. I definitely will never shop here and recommend others to do the same. Reading these other reviews it looks like I'm not the only one! Stay away from these crooks!

Very good prices and will even bring price down if your interested in purchasing. I came in needing a tablet for work temporarily as my laptop went out on me. I found one tried it found that it was not working for my needs took it back exchanged for one that fit my needs and had no trouble with exchange very easy to work with.

Rude disrespectful most non professional people I have ever delt with. We bought a refrigerator from here and it went out and quit working after a week and a half. I went to the store tried to get a replacement WAS WILLING to pay the extra for delivery for them to bring it out and they wouldn't. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE.
