I had a great experience refinancing my mortgage with First Flight FCU in Morehead City. My wife and I were able to join online and complete the entire process without setting foot in a branch. Katharine Champine assisted us through the process and did a phenomenal job. She communicated well and made the process very smooth. I definitely recommend them for your mortgage needs!

I've been with this credit union for a while now. They have been a great bank to me. The only fee I pain monthly is a $3.00 maintenance fee. My experience has only been with the branch in Morehead City NC and all the employees there are awesome!

Anyone thinking about using the First Flight Federal Credit Union in Morehead City, North Carolina I would definitely think about using a different bank or making the short trip to the Havelock office. They are impossible to work with and all they want to do is hassle with you about doing anything in the bank even if it is MAKING A PAYMENT. They try to make up excuses to not to do transactions and payments that you need them to do. There are four drive through tellers but 100% of the time only one is open so there is always a long line. Most of the tellers who work inside have bad attitudes and act like they don't want to be there or don't have the time for the customer. I have only met one person who has been there for years that actually is nice and pleasant to work with at the Morehead bank. They will fee you for ANYTHING that they can think of. They make mistakes on bank accounts countless times and charge you for their mistake. GO TO HAVELOCK ! this bank really deserves 0 stars !

Do business with a bank. The girls at First Flight credit union are great. The First Flight Federal Credit Union establishment. Not so great. I'm pulling out my money and going to put in a bank. Don't do business at First Flight.

Would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Opened a savings account for my CHILD in 2011. Maintained a balance. We haven't had much to add - you know due to the global pandemic, crippling world market, and life in general. Went today to make a deposit - tellers couldn't find the account. They had to call corporate - to which they said the account was escheated to the state in December of 2021, with a balance of $69.19. There was a higher balance, but it was eaten up by fees. (Who charges fees on a CHILD'S SAVINGS ACCOUNT?!?!) I received nothing - no letter, no call, no attempt of contact. I go to the state website to claim my funds - only to see its $19.19. DO NOT BANK HERE. THEY STEAL MONEY FROM CHILDREN.
