I highly recommend NorthSide. My fiancé and I just purchased our first home together. Without NorthSide we would not have made it. They made us feel understood, and welcomed. They weren’t judgy when it came to us not understanding certain things and needing more information. They answered all 50,000 questions that I would ask (may not have been 50,000, but it was a lot). They were able to keep me calm when things would start to feel overwhelming and would help us anyway they could. They go above and beyond for their clients. This is by far this best group that anyone could ever work with! I could go on forever about this group but who really reads super long post! Just know that if you’re looking for the right person in your house buying process NorthSide is the place to go!

Carmen was one of the friendliest and most professional people we have had the pleasure of doing business with. In fact, not only her, but Sandra and Tracie were phenomenal. If you have never bought a home, you do not understand how stressful the home buying process is. Yet, the staff at Northside was with us every step of the way. They helped us buy our forever home even though we thought that would never happen. If you are looking for a loan to buy a home in Southwest Virginia or Northwestern North Carolina, look no further. I would hate to go through this process again, but if I had to, I would choose Northside again. Thank you ladies so much! May God bless you and keep you as you were a tremendous blessing to us!

When our first disaster of a morgage group fell through we went with Northside, BEST DECESION EVER....Stayed on top of paperwork and notified us whenever something came up or needed revising. Very professional and understood how a morgage company should work. 10/10.

Very unprofessional. Almost like this was their very first time trying to find someone a loan. NORTHSIDE not the lender told my wife closing would be Friday the 27th. Rented 26ft uhaul Monday loaded everything out of the house here in Florida have pictures. NORTHSIDE not the lender told my wife oh one more document to sign before midnight Tuesday so we can still close Friday. NORTHSIDE checked with lawyer everything still good for Friday closing. Wednesday before lunch NORTHSIDE oh got to have one more appraisal can put a rush on it but don't know when it will be.You can't tell me as many years and loans NORTHSIDE has found people they don't know everything you need already. DEAL IS OFF.We have no other place to go to in Virginia. I was supposed to start a new job in Roanoke next Tuesday. Had to call and turn it down. With all the inspections fees the first appraisal and now the uhaul truck. We are out over $2500.00 and still in Florida. Thanks for nothing NORTHSIDE.

I wish that I could give them less stars. They told me and my husband that things were going well but the truth was that their underwriter and their VA guy was just running a scam and playing games so we pulled our offer on a home there in NC. They did everything that they could not to let us buy the home. We will never recommend this place of business.
