First Citizens Bank, Newport, NC

Absolutely the WORST online banking I have ever used! I have been trying to pay bills using digital banking and it’s ridiculous. No instructions, no way of transferring my rent to my landlords account at his bank. The digital banking app doesn’t give adequate explanations of what bills can’t be paid unless it’s by check that takes 5 DAYS! I keep getting a message saying my bill can’t be paid because it exceeds the payment limit. No explanation as to what the payment limits are! Now, I must wait to get my account unlocked. Tomorrow morning, I will be transferring my direct deposit to another bank, taking every penny out of First Citizens Bank, closing my account, and driving around to pay bills on person.

Ann, is the absolute worst most unprofessional teller i’ve ever spoken with with. she told me other customers dont have an issue because they’re not living “paycheck to paycheck” . what an absolute disgrace. how dare you talk down to people who are just trying to make it by and take care of children. she should be ashamed of herself and definitely should not work here in our community.
