At The Deanes Group excellence is their standard. Lindsey was my go to person and she was always extremely prompt and helpful. If I ever asked her a question and she didn't know the answer, she found out immediately. I never had to ask her twice for anything. Eddie clearly explained to me the mortgage process, most importantly the ups and downs to every decision I was going to make. I never felt like he would steer me wrong. He guided me throughout the whole process. Nick was very organized and helpful. I had a lot of issues and discrepancies but with his experience and professionalism, none of that was difficult. All of them have excellent personalities and they all really seemed to genuinely care. I would recommend The Deanes Group to anyone looking to purchase a home. The experience here is like no other. Steve Combs went above and beyond my expectations when applying for a loan and going through the home buying process. Steve's experienced shined when I was buying a foreclosed home and my realtor was not the most experienced and I was left with more questions than answers. I could depend on Steve for great advice, suggestions, and humor. That is not something I should have expected. Anytime I had questions he answered his phone and made me feel like priority one on his list. I remember my wife commenting about how well he explains everything and how she understood, she also didn't get the impression that she was an annoyance with all the questions. Everything went smoothly with Steve, from start till finish and even after purchase of the home when I still had more questions. I don't often, I could count on one hand, fill out reviews or surveys for people but Steve left a great impression and deserves recognition. Steve represented your company very well and showed the upmost professionalism. I plan on using Steve in the future.

Our agent was very professional and his customer service was exemplary. I would recommend him to anybody. My sister may be looking for a new house soon and I will recommend him. That is if I win the drawing for the $200 gift card. The only thing I was not satisfied with was the Notary that the Title Company hired, then fired. She was a no show and unorganized. I waited 4 hours for a notary for my refinance that had to happen before my new purchase which was the very next day. I took off work an hour early for this as well. They compensated me with a $200 gift card and I told them that I appreciated it but I didn't feel it was enough compensation with taking off work early to get home to a sick family and then waiting for 4 hours for someone to show. I have an hour and 20 minutes drive home on top of that.

Mr. Lance Forehand went out of his way to accomplish our need to purchase a home by even meeting us on a Sunday at his Edenton office to fill out paperwork. He did a great job keeping us posted along the way whether it be e-mail or phone calls. Would definitely recommend him and his company for loan service(s) to friends, neighbors or family.
