I am posting this most EXCELLENT review on behalf of my mother. The office on Garner Station Road in Raleigh is by far THE BEST!!!! Mom has been with Mariner Finance for a number of years and when her hot water heater went along with her alternator she knew where to go. Since covid hit this particular branch has been SERIOUSLY under staffed. They AVERAGE 500 calls a day with a staff of only THREE. It took a little longer to get her financing but THIS particular TEAM has gone above and beyond. Phones were ringing off the hook and the young lady treated my mom like she was the ONLY client in the office. To the OWNERS/SHARE HOLDERS: whatever you are paying this team IT IS NOT ENOUGH!!! These employees are THE ONES making YOU look good! A little appreciation shown from you would go a very long way...think about that. It is this team in Raleigh that keeps her as a client. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in a financial situation.

Excellent customer service. Everybody is very understanding. They work very hard to help you get what you need. They work with you when you have trouble making a payment.

The people were very courteous and polite and they knew my need and treated like it was theirs, in other words they made you feel comfortable and didn't make you feel like you were bothering them.

Truly an uncomfortable experience. If you want to be made to feel like you’re not good enough for a loan go there. Never even ran my credit!

This has been the worst experience ever. The reps don’t follow up and give you misinformation just to get you off the phone it seems. I was told I would have the funds within 24-48 hours and still haven’t received it. Everything was completed 2 days ago. Called back and spoke to Andrew who claims rep who processed my loan entered wrong bank info so he would send it up for correction and the funds will be in my bank before the end of the day. Something told me to call back because it didn’t sound right. I called and spoke to another gentleman who hung up on me. Called again and Andrew picked up but now says the funds will not be available until 3 business days. When I asked why he didn’t call to let me know he said they were busy. I will never borrow money from this place again no matter what. I would rate them a zero if I could.
