I drove over an hour to come here because I pre-qualified over the phone. They checked my credit, still told me to come. They told me, specifically, as long as everything that you told us pertaining income and vehicle as collateral, checks out then I'll be approved. Also, they needed to appraise my vehicle, which is paid off. I have more than one vehicle. All paid off. I asked what were they looking for pertaining the car. They said just to make sure it's no accident damage. I just wanted to be sure I was organized. I brought all of proof/income tax returns. Everything I told them over the application was verified. To the T. They questioned how I made my income, which I reiterated that I was self-employed. They denied me because they claimed the income didn't match up to what I said. I asked what about it is different. They changed the subject to say my vehicle didn't meet the requirements. Mind you, my vehicles are well kept and I asked for a considerably low amount. That car alone is worth way more than the amount I asked for. When I asked what was wrong with the vehicle, they changed the subject to something else. I had verified explanations for everything, yet they still kept cutting corners. Finally another woman stepped in and said "With your credit, and income not matching what you said, and car, we cannot approve you." So if credit was the issue, why would I even have come that far without them telling me that? They told me if everything else(not credit) checks out with what I told them, I'd have it. And they didn't mention credit until I countered all the other lies they told trying to justify why they wouldn't approve me. The head white lady seemed to have an issue with me having questions. I should at least be able to ask & if you're wrong about something, point it out. I told them that everything I told them over the phone was true and I brought proof of all of it. They couldn't say anything. They are very subjective and dishonest. They should've told me the real reason because "what I said not matching" couldn't have been further from the truth.

I'm blessed beyond measures to have met such wonderful and caring individuals at century finance. If I had to do it again, I can honestly say I wouldn't do or go anywhere different. I would recommend that if you have a need or desire Katie Watson and her staff are the best.

I applied for a loan here to establish credit, I make average 3500 a month, I have one vehicle on my credit PAID IN FULL, I am currently paying on another, I asked for 500 and was DENIED, told to pay more on my current car and try again in 2 months!! I am the payee for my uncle, he is on SSI, brings home 700 a month, rent 500 month, and then cable and lights and water, they approved him for a loan, his credit score at 495, I am confused!!
