The absolute worst service I have ever received from ANY company. I have a business and have managed many within the last 10 years. I wasted 3 months and multiple (damaging) credit pulls from Karen Maxwell. She did NOT follow up with ANYTHING she claimed she was going to accomplish. I had to chase her down and for answers numerous times instead of her following up with me, I had to do HER job.. When I FINALLY got a hold of Karen, she was unprepared. Told me WRONG information. Then without disclosing additional fees to the tune of $8000 just presented contract without discussing. In addition to that she MISQUOTED me by $45,000 on my initial down payment after discussing CLEAR expectations. This is the absolute worst service I have ever received. To feel like I have to chase down and beg for someone to assist me. THEN for Karen to have no idea where we are at in the deal PLUS misquoting. Thanks to Karen Maxwell I have lost the dream home I wanted, lowered my credit score, AND upset the seller. I CANNOT BELIEVE ATLANTIC BAY would let someone with this low of caliber standards handle such large amounts of money and contracts. I can't imagine how much business they have lost and will continue to lose.

For two first time homebuyers working with this group was a breeze. Everything was explained and cost was broken down up front and thoroughly. Everyone answered any phone call immediately and it was all done electronically.

I recently had to refi my house due to divorce. I looked into several online companies to get the best rate, but they all “ghosted” me or did a hard sell. Karen and my Atlantic Bay team (Freida, Dawn, Jessica) gave me a fair rate and also didn’t get too concerned when I changed the mortgage amount midway through. Everything went smoothly and they are still helping me even though the loan has closed. I MAY have been able to get a slightly better rate, but it would have been a lot more complicated and frustrating. Thanks for walking me through this!

If you ever need a loan officer talk to Dawn and Karen. They are extremely nice, professional and very knowledgeable. I would 100% do business and recommend them for all of your mortgage needs.
