i love this bank, i really do. they have helped with several loans etc. however, they absolutely suck at answering the phone or even responding. i sent a text last week and have heard nothing. the new phone system is a joke as no one ever answers. i tried calling several times before i was going on vacation to let them know where my card would be used and no one answered. i am just glad that my cards did not get locked to where i couldnt use them.

I have been baking with these people for close to 10 years now and they've been good about a couple things up until recently. I send my wife some money through cash app to help pay bills every week it was declined today even though I had funds. I called the credit union to figure out what was wrong and come to find out the Lion Share Credit Union does not support Chime, Cash App, or Robinhood anymore.
Talk to lady on the phone who said there was no email or anything sent cuz this happened last Friday and they figured it's best to tell their customers one-on-one then let everyone know. It's a small Credit Union with only 19 employees and to be honest with you it's not good. Limiting people's transactions because it can make your financial institution broke is not a good sign.
I'm going to be changing banks because of this.
No warning no nothing.

I recently had my car break down and on top of that my a.c unit went out in my house that I just purchased ( fixer upper) Melinda Miller is the greatest not only did she help me with a loan ,she also just listen to my problem and understood what was happening and was able to help ,she wasn't rushing me off the phone or during the conversation, she's a real true , professional . Normally I don't give back reviews but the way she's helped me, I couldn't resist but tell anyone and everyone,as long as you are working, she's will help you,thank God for Melinda Miller at lions share credit union,.

I have been a member of this credit Union since the day it started and the service today is a far cry from its Beginnings. You can never talk to anyone, you're on the phone on hold just about every time. It's time for new leadership to run this bank and put your customers back as Priority one.! Try it, Associates are your customers!!

I've been trying to open a checking and saving acct for 2 weeks and today I worked on it for 4 hrs. I called them 8 times!! Left a message each time. I finally got a call back and was told to go to a different website. I did that refilled out the application and then it wouldn't let me go any further until I could pick which company I work for. There were no choices. It was blank so I typed it in and it kept kicking me out. As I clicked out another window popped up for me to sign the paperwork and as I signed each one it got to the part where you deposit what you want at that moment. It gives you the only option of a minimum of 25.00, I chose to deposit 100. So it was set, as I thought. I get a text telling me I was supposed to use another link so I could upload my NC DL.
I told whoever was texting me at 5:06pm. She said she'd have to send me to a specialist. Whaaaaaat!?!?! NOPE! Come tomorrow I'm going to my bank and having that deposit reversed!! What trash!!!
No communication skills whatsoever!!

This bank constantly charges us NSF fees when there's hundreds of dollars in the account. There's no one to talk to on the weekends so now our account which should have plenty of money in it is empty and we can't pay a scheduled bill. This is constantly happening. DON'T USE THIS BANK!!!
