Quick Cash Pawn, Sanford, NC

I used to stop by at least once a month and usually always bought something when I stopped in. Now there is new management and the guys do not have a clue what they are doing. Turning down good items people bring in, buying junk items that are hard to resell and then trying to sell them for new cost. They need to be educated on the cost of items and how to price something used. I bought a gun recently and it took the manager over an hour and thirty minutes to do the sale which is insane but from the looks of it that's how long it takes him on every firearms sale.. really not sure what the issue is. This place is sure to go out of business soon without new management.

Bought a pair of earrings and were told that they were 14 k gold. Because I live 2 hours away, I took them to my jeweler in Southport for polishing and to rework to pierced earrings. Turns out I paid a $125 for gold filled earrings. My mistake but will never go back there. Very unethical practices. Buyer beware!

Poor staff,Don't know nothing about tools,Before I could even pawn my 55 inch TV ,They was trying to avoid even giving pawn on new floor jack,and complete tool set of Stanley for $20. And look out for the crackheads outside ,,,Drove 20 min there,And didn't want to deal with them grabbed my tools and left ,Crackhead outside offered me $25 lol

This store is nicely organized and the prices are negotiable on top of already being pretty low. Marcus was extremely helpful and friendly and he gave me a better deal that what I asked for. After going to the other pawn shops in the area, this one had the friendliest people and best selections. No junk here.

When I went in, there was a home theater system playing entirely too loud to be able to have any kind of normal conversation. I was not welcomed, acknowledged or greeted in any way, shape, form or fashion. I was looking for a small space heater and found they had two on a shelf. One was the ideal size for me, however after looking closer at it in a better light, it was filthy from use. It had dust bunnies, the size of oak leaves and in my opinion would have been a fire hazard.

I've been to quick cash pawns all over the south east and spent thousands of Dollars in these places and have never had an experience like this! I went in there to look around and I asked about the prices and what they could do on them and they said the price was the price and that's with the top and I said what about the prices on the side because they mark it down typically every 2 to 3 months and they'll have numbers to the side and they said those numbers don't matter and I said Well why do they put them there They said that doesn't matter it's the number at the top. That's fine I'll just let your s*** sit in there if you're not going to mark it down after sitting for so long and I'll take my business to Kendell pawn right down the road! No point in even wasting my time looking in there and I won't go back in again!
