Basic Finance INC, Taylorsville, NC

While the people at Basic Finance INC are nice and seem to mean well...they are also in it to make money. Cant fully be mad at that i guess. I told them i wanted payments at a certain amount per month. They did that. But now im stuck paying for a car at a 30% interest rate. Of all the numbers they gave me, the interest rate was the one i didnt get to know until the very end on the last page of signing. the dealership sold me a great car.at an amazing price. The finance company made it to where im paying 3 grand more than the car is worth. I asked questions but they knew how to answer to leave areas of gray.

The folks at Basic Finance helped me get a back up 2nd vehicle when no one else would, and the terms were reasonable. We worked with Fred, and he seemed genuinely interested in my needs, and wasn't in this for a quick loan! I plan on using these guys permanently for any small needs that arise, and I am very thankful for their eagerness to help me! :)

incredibly rude, they tried throwing life insurance on my policy and tried making me pay almost $2,000 above the car loan itself. and because there was a holiday and their office was closed I couldn't call till next day to make a payment and they charged me a late fee. horrible people feeding on people that can barely make it by. Fed up with finance company.

DO NOT EVER GO THROUGH BASIC FINANCE!!!! They threatened to take us to court if we returned our vehicle that barely ran, then told us to goto the car lot we bought it from to see what they would do, and when we did and decided to go with a different vehicle they basically just said never mind you’re screwed, they REPOED my car without notice, then tried to say we owe the more than what we originally paid for the car. BASIC FINANCE IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM!! COMEPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL

BEWARE: They say they are throwing in insurance with your auto loan. They add in life and accidental insurance at your cost. Making your loan significantly go up. This in highly illegal. Don't have a way to pay online. Do not recommend at all.

I've been through this finance before and I've paid off loans through them and they are great to work with never had any problems with them. They are definitely worth going through if you need a ride and I wouldn't go any where else. Tim was the first one who helped me in the beginning and then I ended up with Fred he is really great and answered any questions I ever had, and very helpful as well.
