Mountain Credit Union is terrible to deal with if you have any problems with your account. They never answer the phone - if you message them on the app sometimes they don’t get back with you for several days later. - save yourself the headache and bank with Champion - they are a much better credit union and treat their members with dignity. - if you complain at all to them about their lack of service to their members they then start treating you like a dog rather than a human being. Best decision I made all week was to start the process of moving all my direct deposits to a new bank. Great customer service goes along way but MCU has always had a problem providing that to me in the 7years I have banked with them

My partner and I just bought a house, and got our mortgage through MCU. Our loan officer was Josh Farmer, and he made the process so simple for us. Between him and our realtor, we had such an easy and low stress home buying process. Huge thank you to Josh for making it a breeze, and for being so helpful and communicative through every step!

I have been with Mountain Credit Union for over 30 years and I would never even consider banking anywhere else. It is the personal service that makes all the difference in the world!! They really do take your circumstances into consideration when you have financial needs. I feel like friends with everybody who works there! Yall are great!!

Mountain credit union is the best ever. I had a scam that got my credit card and Ryan took great care of this problem for me. I was so stressed out over it. But he had it took care of in just minutes. Reported it to better business bureau and is sending me my new card. I now have peace of mind knowing that this taken care of. It pays to have a good place to keep your money and have security knowing it is being taken care of. Wonderful service! Had an issue arise where I needed bank statements from 2019. Couldn’t get them through the app or web portal, so I opened a chat with Ryan, Customer Service Manager from the Enka NC branch. This fella was kind, courteous and extremely helpful! Got the particular statement I needed in a very short time. Thanks Ryan and MCU!
