What can I say about Rob and the team at Port City Mortgage.....well for starters this is the first review I have ever written, and I wouldn’t feel right not letting everyone else know how AMAZING Rob and his team were throughout our entire home purchase process. Rob not only beat all other rates we received(some by as much as a full percentage point) but explained every step of the process and worked around the many obstacles that came up in an extremely timely manner to get us to closing on time. I could not have asked for a better overall customer experience and end result. If your reading this review your probably looking for options, do yourself a favor and give Port City Mortgage a call. You will not be disappointed.

We refinanced our original loan in 2020 with another local company and, while the process was easy enough, it took forever and the company messed up our payments so many times (including not paying our insurances through our escrow- we went 7 months without any coverage on our house because no one ever informed us that our mortgage forgot to send payment!) that we just got fed up. We started looking for another mortgage company and Rob with PCM came highly recommended. He quoted us immediately and the rates were unbelievably low, at least half a percent below the next lowest quote. Closing costs were low, it took no time to establish our mortgage, and they even had notary come to our house to make the process even faster. Our payments are now correct and we no longer have to anticipate stress every month, and the process was painless and simple! Rob and his team took care of us and rescued us from our awful previous mortgage. We are forever grateful! Thank you!!!

We Used Port City Mortgage at the end of 2015 when our home was in eminent domain for the new Military Cut off Extension. They were great! They understand the system, rates, and how important our time schedule was for closing on a new home.
