Wintrust Mortgage, Grand Forks, ND

In the past 25 years of transactions in real estate by far the worst experience I have ever had. We were given information that everything qualified and made an offer on a home. After the offer was made and earnest money paid the Wintrust team revised the qualifications for approval at least 5 times. Each time we responded and provided infomation or added to the down payment- each time they increased the qualifiers. Just today, two days before closing, they have infomed us they could not make the transaction work. We moved through the process basing our "Trust" in their professional apptitude and currently, they don't have a "Win". I would have directly said this to Shanna, but once again - her voicemail was full and I was unable to speak to her. I would gladly take this post down if I just recieved a phone call from their office with an explanation of why the qualifiers have been revised once more.

Shanna and the team at Wintrust made the purchase of our new home so simple! They were able to run multiple scenarios and answer any questions we had at basically any time of day and almost immediately via email. They made me feel so comfortable that I didn't have to worry about whether they had our best interests in mind or not. It just took one less thing off our plate to have to worry about with the move.
