Gate City Bank, Minot, ND

I've been banking here for two years and still am treated like an outsider. I can't even receive a small loan to help with every day expences in these trying times.

Won't accept my wife's social security number to join my account, never had any problem at other banks.

I hate the fact that's I need my ID to get a new card everytime. They need to update the system to confirm it's a proper person

This has got to be the greatest bank I have ever done business with.

If only I could give no star at all. We had a terrible experience in this bank. They should amend their policy regarding opening account. We dropped by to see if we can open an account with them. We had our legal work document, ss number and authorization from Dept. of Homeland Security but they told us to wait for our SS physical card, they want to see it so they can process with our application. As soon as we received our SS card, we came back and told us they were unable to proceed with our application unless we are a US citizen or a permanent resident. It's very disappointing and discriminating for few. They should tell us from the start. Such as waste of our time and effort. Other banks accepted us with a SS number only.

Been banking here for almost 2yrs and I love it. So easy even to just pull money out, staff is so cooperative.
