First Community Credit Union, Stanley, ND

We worked with Jeremy at this branch for our home mortgage. We had an amazing experience and he truly went to bat at running all the numbers and finding the best program that fit our personal needs. We would definitely go back again for any of our financing needs!

This will probably go unnoticed but i will still write it regardless, today is Sunday June 30th 2019, but yesterday was June 29th 2019 there was a severe storm warning that ended up killing people on the interstate and damaged a lot of properties in town. I was running errands in town with my mother, fiancee and my 2 year old son. our last stop was the bank before we could head home to avoid the storm and while i was making a deposit through the drive through the severe weather started and it was really bad to the point it was shaking the vehicle and at this point my mother & fiancee were freaking out because of fear but what baffles us was the lady who made my deposit blatantly denied to let us in to at least stand in the lobby area or the area in between the main door and the lobby door, we're obviously not here to steal your money because i just made a deposit and this was truly inhumane and me and my family still shocked till now. it's sad because i have been banking with this bank for years now, even when it was still Citizens Community Credit Union I am not just here to drop my money off for safe keeping and leave, i am here to deal with you first off as a person, as a customer, and as an active member of the community & we both deserve each others service. Thank you & have a great day!

A bank is useless if you go to work before it opens and get off work after it closes.

My father has been with this Credit Union for over 30yrs. He has bought homes, cars, anything he has financed has been done with First Community Credit Union. He has told me for the last 30 yrs why I should only bank with them. So, I attempted to Open a Business and Personal account with one of the tellers today. I asked what does it take to open a business account, she "the teller" looked at me and gave me every reason why I would not be able to open an account with them for whatever reason, only she knows. My 40yrs of being Black in America has taught me to know when my business is not wanted. I went home and thought about this experience and decided to call another Bank. From my chair, at home, in front of my fireplace, GateCity opened an account and were kind enough to DocUsign paperwork so I didn't have to go out in the Blizzard. Thank you First Community Credit Union with my M.A.G.A hat on I say you are FIRED!
