Was trusting enough to buy a car from this place because it seemed like a good deal. Except it wasn't. It ran fine during the test drive and we were advised that it only needed a tune up and minor repairs. Wrong. What it needed was a new transmission. Proceed with caution when buying a cheap car from this place because you might end up stuck on the side of the road in a junk heap.

I had a great experience at Gering Auto Sales when I went there looking for a good used vehicle. The salesman was very friendly and attentive. I was only on the lot a few minutes before he appeared at my side to assist me. After letting him know which vehicle I was most interested in, he was back in 2 minutes with the key and a dealer licence plate so I could take a test drive. Upon returning to the lot, an counter-offer was made against the asking price. He checked with his boss and returned in under 3 minutes with an affirmative answer. Upon entering the sales office, the boss promptly began the paperwork. Since the deal was a cash transaction, the paperwork was completed in about 10 minutes. Before I left the lot, the salesman came over to talk to me again. We had quite a friendly chat for 15-20 minutes. I would definitely recommend this used car dealership to anyone looking for a great deal and friendly staff.
