You will be told and assured that you are approved aside from submitting one more thing…then they need another document then you are good to go…then another. You will be told you are all approved and good to go aside from signing paperwork then suddenly you’re not approved anymore? They ran 2 hard credit checks not just one because they claimed the first one had an incorrect social number. If you don’t want additional needless inquiries on your credit report and you don’t want to waste your time go elsewhere. I had to call for follow up and keep pestering to even get a response from them. It’s not an easy or efficient process and not worth wasting your time on.

Horrible customer service. Takes weeks to get call backs, or they call you at the same time everyday after explaining those times don’t work. Worst experience attempting to get a loan yet in the last 15

I have been a OneMain customer for a little over a year now. I got my first loan with them when I was living in Texas. I had a great experience out of that office. I wanted to renew my loan and take additional funds out to consolidate some credit cards in an effort to improve my credit score. This was by far the worst experience I had. Carmen was the person helping me and I do not recommend anyone get assistance from her. It took 3 days just to get an approval and she was trying to push it out another day. There was no urgency to assist me. The only urgency she had was to push that additional insurance on my loan, and i wanted none of that. I had to repeatedly state i was not interested. When we talked about the loan terms she failed to mention the $500 processing fees. Thank goodness I read through the documents before signing. I felt mislead! I declined the loan, and I don't think I'll ever do business with onemain after this experience.

Horrible customer service, never get calls back after they say they're going to call me back, applied 3 weeks ago and they are still "reviewing my documents"

Great company. Very understanding and easy to work with. They changed my life. I will be forever thankful for them.

Don't worry you can apply but they delay your application and constantly tell you they'll call you back, just to finally set up an appointment and wait till that day to inform you your application expired. I don't understand how lazy people keep their jobs.

Everyone was super friendly and the process was quick. Everything was explained and staff at the lincoln nebraska office was exceptional. I will be using them again as a lender
