Bank of the West, Norfolk, NE

Do not bank here if you buy anything online. For example if you use Amazon, cash app etc? Forget it. Your card will be throttled. I needed badly to cash app a stranded friend money in Minneapolis from Norfolk Nebraska. Was utterly unable to. Even though there was sufficient money in the account. My friend was forced to sleep in his car in the winter. Much obliged Bank of the West ! Not!!! I can’t even begin to describe how long you will wait in customer service call queue. The local branch “can’t do anything please sir, call customer service “. They will fix it immediately. . Yeah right. If you believe that I got many bridges to sell you. Cheap. I will bury my money in my yard , use a kid’s piggy bank or set fire to my cash before I deposit a dime with these jokers. Another good friend of mine had the same experience. I’m not a huge depositor. She was. She walked in to the Norfolk branch and made them count out 91,000 in bills. I was privileged to see it. I think the branch manager was about to cry lol. Anyway my point is: If you want to use your debit card do not use Bank of the West !
