Cumberland Check Cashing Inc, Bridgeton, NJ

Went there on Thursday to cash a check. First the girl behind the counter said I needed another check because I signed it already. Got another check not even five minutes later unsigned and gave it to her she been on her cell phone still. She now tells me that the other person needs to verify the check which was a small amount and they are broken down and to come back again again just to cash a check. Why does she work there if she can’t do what she’s there for.

I put one star because it is Friday at 11:00 a.m. and I went over to the check cashing place and it was still closed on an actual Friday when most people get paid. This is irresponsible to say the least! No signs were up and no number to call to see if they were even opening today!!! Totally messed up my whole day!!!

The site says they close at 9pm and we went she said we closed and shut the shade in our face!

Waited for 15+ minutes when she was on a "bathroom break" they lost about 5 customers in under 15 minutes. Tells a lot about this place.
