I was approved for 5000. This would have helped me consolidate my credit cards in one payment. And it was a great low payment. I was going to use my car as collateral. She assured me I was approved. We did everything over the phone and the process was okay. She was very nice and worked with me. At the end, I was denied. I was so frustrated and saddened by the news. I just needed assistance.

My loan specialist explained the options for insurance in detail. When I declined insurance, she offered to attempt to lower my payment by extending the term on the loan. Once I stated that I still was not going to purchase any insurance options, she stated she was not going to try it because it’s not worth it. So I felt like I was only worth looking into a lower rate if I was going to spend additional funds with the company on insurance. I’m here spending money. I should still be able to receive the different terms and options that are available. This is my 2nd loan with OneMain which was four times higher than my previous loan. My next loan necessity will not likely be here.

I was referred to someone in this office and i called in. She was not available and the person i spoke to was extremely unpleasant and had zero customer service skills. She spoke to me with a nasty tone and it was clear she did not want to be there or be speaking to me. I asked if she could help, even though it didn't sound like she wanted to. I asked about refinancing my vehicle because credit Karma suggested that 5% is too high of an APR to be paying. She responded: "Well we can't get you anything lower than that anyway" She did not even run my credit. This was a red flag so i decided to go to another company.

This loan payment has never been late. Monthly payments are more than agreed amount yet the keep increasing. may have to take these folks before the courts for fraud.

The assign you someone to your loan. You can only speak to that person. They give you a “tentative” approval. Which is not really approved until they speak to you. Still gives you a hard credit check. They let you schedule an appointment that they don’t accommodate. The person answering the phone is rude and has no idea what appointments were made and set. This location is completely incompetent!
