This is the worst experience I had re-financing my home. Loan processor doesn't reply to my emails. The numbers weren't finalized till the last minute and the numbers reflected in the Closing Disclosure and what the Closing agent distributed were completely different. When I send an email to correct this, I don't get a response at all.

My experience with Loan Depot has been nothing less than excellent. It’s because of Guna Shanmugam, my loan officer who’s extremely knowledgeable and down to earth in customer handholding. I found the loan processing extremely simple with Guna simplifying and demystifying a lot of myths that I had before getting into this mortgage. Thanks Guna and Loan Depot

My loan says Ewing, NJ, nothing comes up for a loan depot there, just this. I’ve been taking on loans since 2003, and this is the worst loan experience I’ve had. I am still unable to make my automatic draft payments because of something on their end. My credit has been ruined, and I’ve spent many hours trying to reach someone. I even had to call off one day of a book full of patients to try to resolve with lines leading to busy tones, and responses just sending me back to the nonfunctional number. Save yourself the headache.

I would highly recommend using Scott Kelsey for your mortgage needs. I came to Scott after trying to use another mortgage company. They over promised and 75% of the way through the process told me they couldn't do what they had initially promised. I went to Scott and he was wonderful. He carefully examined my very complicated situation and was able to accomplish everything the other company said they would do but didn't. He even worked with my very tight deadlines. Both Scott and his staff are highly organized and experts in their field. They were understanding of my needs and helpful to me as I worked through the process. Their fees were reasonable and they were able to achieve what the other company said was impossible. It was a pleasure to do business with Scott and his team.

Do not use Paul Dicker from Loan Depot. His original quote for fees was increased two days before closing. This was probably done intentionally because then there would be significant consequences for backing out of the purchase transaction.

Tom and his team are fantastic. He has been available practically 24/7. I have emailed him a question on weekends at night, not really expecting a response until the next business day, but there's a response coming back right away. Tom is knowledgeable and provided me with spot on advice. Am going to recommend him to everyone I know.
