Great experience with One Main Financial. This is the 2nd time I refinance my loan and the rep was super helpful and explained the process again fully!!! Would recommend them for anyone needing cash!!!

This review is not based on this location. It is based on the company in general. OneMain loan in which I applied to get a loan. They pre qualified me at first then I recieved an email stating I was approved for a loan of $10,000. At first I was so happy and exicted saying thank God I'm approved for a loan I can pay my debt off and get my credit to where it needs to be. Because growing up as a teenager the creditor took advantage and allow you to apply for credit cards without you knowing that there would be a price to pay later on in life which puts you in debt. So we all learn this the hard way. But time passes you begin to understand how to become frugal with money and not squander it. This is what I began to do but since the damage was done it become impossible to fix my credit due to past financial situations. It's like the creditors do not help you get you credit back in good standing or even the loan departments. This brings me to my point of misleading people by telling them one thing then it another which is a lie. I applied to Onemain Financial loans informing I was approved all I needed was to send in a few documents and I would be clear to get this loan. They wanted me to send in vehicles registration, my insurance, paycheck stud, voided check and another document with my signature. At first I didnt really take note of all the items they wanted but now I feel they wanted this info to take advantage of my car if payments were not paid. This info was stated in the document or policy. They also gave me info as to how much my monthly would be which I thought was pretty manageable for me of $286 instead what I had to pay each month for my car which was my main reason for taking this loan out in the first place to pay my car note off. I decided that I needed to increase my loan. Therefore I called the company spoke with a customer rep who pretty much stated that I needed that person to be guarantor due to the fact the vehicle insurance was not in my name and the registration. I said to her that info was not provided or stated. I was not going to use anyone. It would be just my name on this loan. She then totally shut me down and said unfortunately they could not approve me for this loan when I was approved already. I then said to myself she was rude for not giving me futher details and just denying me. So, this is why I stated this company was misleading. How can you get an approval at first but when you call its another thing. I said to myself this person is one to shatter someone dreams from becoming debt free. Plus no explanation as to why I couldn't be the only one on this loan without that person being a guarantor. First off it's my vehicle and I'm paying the bill not this person. I've come to realize that no one wants to help you out of debt they just want to dig a hole and put you in the dirt or a grave so that your spouse or your family may take on this debt you have. This is what it's all about keeping you from your goals and dreams to keep you in debt until the day you die. So that it become the trickle down theory. I know now not to trust any loan company because they're not trying to help you get out of debt they put you further in debt. In addition, credit karma and credit sesame they're not here to help you they only monitor you to send info to other companies so they too will share your info so you'll never get get out of debt. This info is for all who has been doing their best to get out of debt but they still want to hold you down. I say boycott these loan companies because they will never ever help you do better. Because if they truly wanted to help they would not put so much high interest on that loan. If these companies were willing to help people they would take notice of your credit and see the changes you've made on your credit and help you to get out of debt. But they see an opportunity to hold you back. Those you call opportunist and the devil advocate they do as the devil says.

They are crooks to the highest order. Totally sxretwed me on a loan. Its been a year of on time payments and the interest is killing me. I don't recommend to anyone to do business here. To make it worse the woman who helped me added some insurance that I didn't want. I had to call thwt company to complain. Lesson learned to never do business with them.

My experience wasn't the best I already have a loan with One Main Financial I need a second loan for a Time sensitive purchase needless to say after a delay and another delay and another what I needed the loan for was no longer available. So after the loan went through I really didn't need it anymore.

I applied to several online offers and banks with no luck, came across OneMain Financial on the internet, walked in, came out pre-approved, and closed the next day. It offers competitive rates and different options.

Thank you the service was great after the system malfunction was resolved. No problems after that no complaints. Well done.

Pedro was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. One main made it really easy to take a loan and I received the funds writhing 45 minutes of closing the loan.
