OneMain Financial, Toms River, NJ

My mom and I came to One Main Financial a couple weeks ago because we were in need of immediate funds for a time-sensitive issue. Even though we only got approved for 20K initially, the manager at the Toms River location, Giovanni made sure to help us get 40K through a personal, secured loan. They went above and beyond to make sure we get the credit approval. We also just paid off our loan and Giovanni helped us do this without any issues. I definitely recommend this place, they are amazing and very helpful, and will definitely do the best of their ability to help meet your needs!

Horrible. Fake 5 star reviews. Wouldn’t give me a 4,000 loan with a 700 credit score without collateral. They wanted to add nearly 10% interest on my car payments

We went to one main financial today for a $6000 loan and just like everyone else that wrote reviews they wanted to use my car as collateral. I only owe $6000.00 on my car so therefore I would be paying off my car for another 5 years. So how much would I be paying for my car after 5 years. Then one of the other workers butted in with a bad attitude and told us we didn’t qualify for a loan without collateral. I just got a $270,000 mtg loan 2 weeks before with no problem and I make $105,000 a year with good credit. Do not go here. Its a very scarry place. RED FLAG. RIP OFF.

Trying to buy a co-op as a primary residence have to pay cash, so I need to borrow about $15,000. Just to get $5,600. had to use my car as collateral, even with a credit score of about 700, income is about $30,000. and my only bill was my $300. car pmt. (I don't even pay rent, no mortgage, no debt). They paid off my car at $2900. Now it will cost me $8500. to pay off my car. Process was long. Did a lot of it online, then had to do another 90 minutes in person. Be careful to check everything in the total that you are borrowing. Things were added in like insurance, totally almost $2000.!! So it would have been a total of almost $10,500. !! I had that removed of course. On the plus side, there were no fees and money was in my account within a few hours. Other companies turned me down so I was happy to find one that approved me, but I will pay it off quickly because of the potential risk of losing my car. Mariners gave me $4000. no collateral, all done online, took about 15 minutes, money in my account the next day. Easiest thing I've ever done. I recommend trying them first. Capital One gave me $5000. credit card cash advance with no interest for 15 months.

Ronald Goldman was our loan specialist and wow a great guy he is! We had some credit issues and he totally helped us get what we needed to get to a better place financially! God put us there with him at the right time because we didn't have an appointment, my husband and I just walked in looking for some help and that is where Ronald took over!!! I will always recommend him! !!!

From talking on the phone to walking into the office it's like you're dealing with old friends. Brandon and Maya made sure I was well taken care of and I walked out with double the amount I applied for. My money was in the bank the very next morning. Took less than 12 hours for the whole process. Would definitely recommend.
