Centinel Bank of Taos, Taos, NM

We had a banking emergency - needed to get funds to a friend immediately, and Jo helped us with all the details. Not only was she knowledgeable on exactly how to get this done, but her compassion was so sincere and heartfelt. Banks can be very cold these days in this digital era, but Centinel Bank still puts the person first. It is so refreshing to know real people care about you and truly want your business. I feel safe with them on both a personal and financial level.

Here's a sixth star because they deserve it (*). I can't say enough about this bank and the service we received from Victoria. She helped us set up a new joint account and managed a large wire transfer for a real estate purchase better than our own bank in San Diego. She made my wife and I feel very welcome and we were in and out in no time. Looking forward to becoming Taosuenos (sp?) and doing business with this great local bank.

Update 10/2021 Updating my review because I haven't been locked out of my account at all lately. Thank you for fixing the app/website! 7/21 The staff is really nice and helpful, but I always have issues with their website and mobile app. I'm constantly getting locked out of my account and have to call Centinel to reset my password. I cant go to the physical location because of Covid restrictions. Getting locked out of my account can be a big issue for me on the weekend when I really need access to my finances but the bank is closed until Monday. Their fees are a lot higher than most banks as well.

I love this bank. I've been an out-of-state account holder for over a decade and never had the slightest problem getting things done properly. Now that I live here permanently, I am happy to say that I am even more impressed.

Will do everything they can to nickel and dime your money from you. Just awful service from a "hometown" bank that just wants your money and not to actually help the community. 0/5

The bank stole money from me and on several occasions has refused to let me spend my own money that I earned my own self.
