WaFd Bank, Fernley, NV

We opened a new account today with WaFd. From beginning to end the process was terrific. First when we called we spoke with an actual person within a minute or two. The young man, Amao was professional and courteous. He made us an afternoon appointment. We went into the branch, Amao helped us open our new account and the appointment went so smoothly. Now you might think well yes, that’s how it should go. Wrong! We encountered the opposite experience with another financial institution within the same geographical area. Calls put on hold for at least 30 + minutes, misinformation given to me once I finally spoke with a person, went for appointment to open account only to be sent home for more info! I am very grateful to start a banking relationship with WaFd.
