Thank you, Lorraine LaBelle. I am almost convinced that we would have lost our house had she not been on our team. She held the most knowledge out of everyone we worked with during our first time homebuyer process. She cared for us more than our own agent had. You could be confident that you would speak to her when you called, and we called a lot. She never became impatient with us though we were a bundle of nerves constantly. She was so informative about the type of loan we are using (USDA) and was able to reassure us and educate us every step of the way. I cannot thank her enough. She was an absolute superstar. Thank you as well to everyone at SEFCU involved. With all the people we were waiting on, SEFCU was never one of them.

They need better people on the phone line. Diane in loan servicing may need a better training. She doesn’t have any manners and very unpleasant. I’m not sure why they records calls when they clearly don’t pay attention to how their employees answer calls.

Good customer service. Terrible online banking and mortgage company. Only use SEFCU for your mortgage if you plan to use them for all other banking needs.

I am leaving 5 stars for our incredible loan officer, Kara Guthrie. As 1st time home buyers, we had many questions and concerns that Kara always addressed quickly and kindly. She guided us through our buying process from pre approval to close always making herself available whenever we needed her. There were a few items we needed to complete that we wouldn't have known about if not for Kara, even though the responsibility of letting us knownshould have fallen on our agent! Excellent communication all through out! And just a kind easy person to work with! Thank you, Kara! We will always be grateful for your help
