The Amherst Federal Credit Union staff is very friendly and personable. Its nice to actually talk to someone when you call. Rates for loans always seem to be some of the best around.

Been a member for awhile. Tried only twice in the last few years and once again recently(twice altogether). Denied! Not to mention, the payments would have been extracted from my payroll. I think people of color are serviced differently. I been there in person a few times and I’ve seen customer service on both ends of the spectrum.

Friendly, professional staff, and prompt service. Best banking experience ever! Don't know why I didn't switch over from large commercial banks sooner.

I love this credit union! Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. They are also eager to help with any problems or questions you have! I highly recommend coming here, just walking in to do a transaction brightens your day!

Nice people, and loan sale rates are occasionally excellent. I recently had an issue with their processing of an ach with no notification for 6+ weeks which exposed some fundamental flaws so I'll probably stick to larger institutions in the future. Edit: up to 4 stars for friendly & quick service I've received the few times I called since.

If you are self employed and looking to do business with them, look at other credit unions or financials. I was excited to move some of my business to another local credit union and they had a very attractive auto loan rate, but they just couldn't get it done. In comparison, within five minutes of filling out a loan application with the auto dealer I am purchasing the vehicle from I had multiple financials competing for my business and an instant approval. They do not have an understanding (or desire) to work with small businesses - the people and members that actually drive the local economy they serve. It is kind of ironic. Never in my career have I seen a lending process like the one they use.

The staff is so friendly, and the gentlemen who always answers the phone is so polite. They answer any questions I have. Super friendly. Prefer coming here then a anywhere else !!
