I have worked with One Main on two different loans and the experience has been great. The process is extra easy to get a loan approval with their ability to upload documents and remotely walk you through the contract. I have had conversations with Miguel at the Amherst NY branch several times, and every time he has been so pleasant, helpful, personable, and genuinely a pleasure. I don't know many people who work in customer service over the phone who I have actually enjoyed conversations with. My most recent interaction Miguel was walking me through a loan application, so we spent over an hour on the phone together when all was said and done... and I was not annoyed or frustrated because a.) I felt like Miguel respected and appreciated my time and b.) Miguel kept the conversation flowing very naturally in a way that didn't even make me realize how much time was passing. The epitome of customer service skills, I was so impressed with Miguel!

Daniel, at One Main Financial is a very knowledgeable financial officer. He’s really friendly, listens to all of your concerns, even if you’re unsure. He will give you advice & find the best options for you. Daniel makes it exceptionally easy to gain control of your life & keep your head above water. He’s always there for me when I need him. Really smooth convenient process! I spoke to Daniel on the phone he was very helpful and even stayed late to wrap everything up for me.

Be careful when using the check for prequalified offers. They asked if I owned a vehicle and I stated no. After congratulating me on being prequalified and conducting a hard credit inquiry, they wanted a vehicle for collateral. This is a shady practice of drawing applicants. I'd say read before you apply but I did read and answered honestly but they don't care. Tough times require questionable practices to draw business I guess. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

Make sure you know your credit score before you walk in the door. They will say they can help you if your credit score is good or very poor. They will do this just to get you in the door and they were run your credit and make your credit score even worse.

I've always had a good experience with one main they've been very helpful done as much as they could to help me and just the nicest people I've ever met I am so glad I'm associated with your business because I get great service. This last time the people just as kind and nice and helped me out. Again I am glad I'm associated with your company because you've been very good to me and help me when I really needed it the most

Although the interest is high, there is no penalty for paying the loan off early. After all my paperwork was completed the money I borrowed was in my account in about an hour. I was treated with respect and they are professional & nice.
