Trustco Bank, Clifton Park, NY

Terrible service. I've been banking with Trustco Bank for years without conflict, Until I went here. I went to cash a payroll check and they ran my balance in the system normally from a checking account. When running the balance the individual assisting me started to talk about how much money I had with her coworkers. I had a normal amount of money according to the agreement but they refused to cash my check because apparently they can't cash anything but Trustco Bank checks; completely idiotic due to the fact I've went to other locations and they cashed it with no conflict. No confidentiality here plus they're extremely judgmental. Never in my life I have been so displaced. Extremely unhappy, Will be doing my banking at other locations from now on. Want to get humiliated, and judged than go here; If not go to another location.

If you need a notary and are not a customer they plain refuse to do it (even though before they would just charge $), just go to Bank of America next door and you don't need to have an account for them to do it.

Terrible service

Trustco is my parents bank. They always go to the one on Rt146 in Clifton Park (they LOVE that branch) but we needed a special signature so I had to bring my 90 year old father to this one. Branch manager was beyond RUDE! She is a terrible representation of the Trustco brand. If my dad ever needs a special signature again we will find another way to get it. Will NOT ever go to this branch for anything.

Indian lady thinks she owns trustco needs a reality check you can’t just tell people to leave when the questions get hard or force my company with me to open bank accounts very sad hopefully they remove her
