This I was our second time working with Don and Sun Mortgage. Buying a home is extremely stressful, but Don makes the mortgage process as easy as possible. He is knowledgeable, makes great recommendations and communicated in a timely manner all around. We are so thankful for him and his professionalism. Would highly recommend.

We were looking to buy in Cortlandt Manor, NY. After some googling, we found the highly rated Sun Mortgage Company with Don Rizzo at its helm. Don was very professional and informative. As a first time home buyer, I had many questions about the process, the market, etc, and Don made it easy to understand. It was one less thing to worry about because we knew Don had it handled. My wife represented us as our agent and was very impressed by his professionalism and said she will recommend him to her clients. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.

I will definitely recommend Mr. Rizzo as a mortgage broker. I went in as a second-generation immigrant home buyer with little insight into the mortgage process. Mr. Rizzo has the heart of a teacher I received great communication and great service. Kept me informed throughout the process. Overall my experience with Sun Mortgage was excellent.

Sun Mortgage (and specifically, Don Rizzo) made the whole cash-out refinancing process fast and extremely easy. Don answered every question I had and always made time for me. He has a ton of technical knowledge and also helped me make decisions by taking the time to understand my positions and goals. If you’re in the market for a mortgage then working with Sun Mortgage is highly recommended. This is the second time I worked with Don and Sun Mortgage, the first being a refinance to a lower rate 10 years ago.

For the past year, my wife and I have been thinking about refinancing our house to get some necessary things done. We spoke to several banks, but it was always the same thing with them, they were trying to sell us something we were not looking for. Then one evening we found Sun Mortgage Company and read all the reviews. The next morning, we called Sun Mortgage Company and spoke to Don Rizzo. We told Don what we were looking for and he explained how the process works. After filling out the online application, we were all set to move forward. I was expecting a similar process to what the banks would have put us through but WOW, I was wrong! Before reaching out to Sun Mortgage Company we had attempted to go through our previous lender and other financial institutions, but they made it impossible. We were always talking to a different representitive each time and had to start over due to lack of information they had on their end, which meant starting the process over. This was fustrating!! Don Rizzo made this process quick, easy and painless. In just a short amount of time after supplying him with some of the documents he had requested, he found us the perfect loan and excellent rate to refinance our home. Once we had agreed on the loan and rate, Don was even able to get us in touch with a local law firm to handle the closing. This was one of the best loan experiences we have been through. We will be using Don Rizzo from Sun Mortgage Company again in the future. Thank you again Don.

Don came highly recommended from my realtor. He helped me price out many offers over an extended period of time, but never lost patience. Once it was time to pull the trigger he was extremely helpful in navigating volatile interest rates. Highly recommend him to any purchaser.
