The tellers are great, love them all, but the bank itself is TERRIBLE!!! I would advise banking with the cartel before Citizens Bank. I was provided and charged for "optional" overdraft coverage that I declined. A simple electronic transfer advertised to run in three days will actually take a minimum of a business week to process, so if your attempting to cover an overdraft before it occurs via transfer, you'll rack up a $30 fee every two days in addition to the $35 fee until they decide to process the request. There's no annual yield on checking and annual yield on savings is 0.01% And the next closest Citizen's Bank is in Ithaca, so unless you plan to live in Dansville for the life of the account, it's barely accessible. Do yourself a favor and go First Heritage, or Community Bank, or literally any other bank or credit union. If you don't listen to me now, you'll wish you had later
