I finally have closed on the property and I can't wait to start moving in and making the changes to call it "Our Home". I will say that Homestead does service your loan - meaning they sell it to another bank/mortgage company; however, they strive to keep you posted and will always be there to help with any and all questions that may arise even after closing. I am assured that working with Kristen, any and all questions I may have about the servicing will be answered hastily and fully. Servicing can sometimes work in your favor, but most of the time creates nothing but a change in where the payments go; Homestead will ALWAYS be a contact for you, that will never change. Homestead Funding knows what they are doing and their costs are unbeatable, but Kristen knows it all better. I adored working with her and I hope many more find her exciting personality in their journey looking for a new home.
