NBT Bank, Hartwick, NY

I put my payroll check into my account through the mobile app. I understand that apparently after 6pm it is another business day however. The 1-800 number and the “tellers” at the banks have very different answers. Apparently the manager is the only one that can actually help you with anything and they are not there until and I quote “maybe Monday”. The people I spoke to at the 1-800 numbers were at least friendly. The two banks that I called were rude unprofessional and snarky. They we so unhelpful that I got off the phone baffled with the lack of customer service I received. I am stuck with this bank until the holiday weekend is over and first thing Monday morning I am closing my account. I am writing this shaking my head on how unhelpful they were and a waist of 45 min on hold on the phone. If I could give them less then one star I would.

I deposit checks every week there and the staff are always quick, efficient and helpful. Thank you for being essential workers in times like these

Great vibes as soon as u walk in through the door. Great staff as well as customer service. I didn't know how to fill out a deposit slip and they made it easy to understand and helped me all the way. Great service. I highly recommend this bank.

Have had nothing but problems ever since opening my account. NBT is the worst bank ever.
