UPDATE: THIS BRANCH IS NOW PART OF COMMUNITY BANK First impressions of the change: from best to one of the worst. - no longer provide paper statements unless you pay for them - low interest rates on savings - do not provide savings rates online, do not distribute rate sheets on paper; you can get them verbally in the branch - do not appear to follow the "greet customers by name when you arrive" policy any more - (added 7/31/2022) when you do receive paper statements, THERE IS NO DATE ON THE STATEMENT. Individual accounts have dates associated with them, but there is no overall statement date. I've never seen a bank statement without a statement date before! I expect to close many of my accounts and move them elsewhere. Original review: Probably the best bank in Ithaca. The only bank where they greet you as you enter...and even by name once you know them. Better rates than several local banks, but some of the same gotchas. On the whole, a better deal than most. Sure, they like you to bring in "new" money to get the best rates, but so does everyone else. So you move it from place to place...take from the rich and give to the poor...and get good rates everywhere. Try 'em, you'll like 'em.

Always a pleasant visit. Banking with them is the fastest and easiest bank to do buisness with! April is the best! She always goes above and beyond her normal duties to make sure I am 100% satisfied! Not taking away from all the other employees, haven't had a bad experience with anyone who works there!

Hidden fees, horrible customer service. Ithaca branch is the worst but bad all around. Don't bank with these people.

The staff at this bank are some of the friendliest and most professional people I've ever met! Even the ones I HAVEN'T met; as in on the phone.
