Ulster Savings is a good bank with several locations locally. They revamped their online account tools a few years ago and it is very functional. They offer Zelle, a person to person payment tool, which is a bit like Venmo.

Abby did a wonderful job getting my check scanner connected and was very thorough in walking me through the software as well as answering questions. Very patient and knowledgeable.

My husband and I initially were going with a big well known bank, until my lawyer (Gary Goldstein) suggested we go with a "Mom and Pop" private bank. That was the best decision we made when it came to getting a mortgage. Not only did Jack Fanning, our loan specialist go above and beyond to make it happen as soon as possible, he brought in his teammate, Elizabeth Paszkiewicz, loan processor, along to make it happen. My husband is self employed, which makes it more challenging to get a loan. The two of them together took any information, no matter what time I sent it and immediately processed it to make our mortgage go through as quickly as they could. We are a very small business and they could of easily put us on the back burner, but they didn't. My husband and I along with my boys are happily getting settled into our new home sooner then we could of with another bank thanks to Ulster Savings. I will, 100% be recommending this bank to anybody who is looking for a mortgage or any kind of loan. Thank you from the bottom of my heart❤️
