Generations Bank, Medina, NY

Have been dissatisfied with this bank for a while and finally closed my account today. I would highly recommend any other bank than this one.

They are friendly and helpful people. When they changed two generations from Medina Savings and Loan they cut out a few things that I was not happy with. One example is you can't cash a check there if you're not a member. You used to be able to go there and do that.

Laurie and Jenna are always friendly and smiling whether walking through Wal-Mart or actually banking. They are always ready to answer questions and help when ever they can. If they can't they find someone else like George. The financial advisor who has helped me imensly the past 4 months making sound investments with my finances. I dint know where I would be without them. I have another account else where so I don't have to go there. I choose to go there. Thank you for all you do.

Used to be great when it was Medina Savings and Loan, now the fees are crippling. They will charge you $15 to cash a check, roughly $14 more than MSL. Absurd.

Literally any other bank does a better job or has options. A piggy bank does a better job and has better customer service... So frustrating!!!! I can't even make a car payment easily.

I’ve always had great pleasure using generations bank. Been banking with them for the past 6yrs. Staff are always easy to work with. Kaleigh has been a big help since I always mess up the coin deposits. Glad to be banking for this company. I highly recommend!

I love the hometown feel this bank has held onto despite the world moving to larger bank institutions through mergers and online platforms. The employees always make you feel welcome and like so much more than just a customer. I have banked there for decades and have never been dissatisfied. They have always been accommodating, I highly recommend.

I’ve been using this bank for years! Everyone there is very friendly and always willing to help when needed! Kaleigh from the medina location is always very helpful and polite and has helped me with any questions I have. Definitely recommend banking here!
