This bank call center service SUCKS!!! Worst than any other bank I’ve used. Some of the reps have attitudes and give little to no help. Most are CLUELESS. If you lose connection, they don’t do call backs and you’ll have to repeat the process all over again. STAY AWAY from this bank. This was a GOOD bank/credit union years ago. Not so much anymore.

I Went here to withdraw some money at the atm machines and the machine took my debit card for no reason . I then contacted Hudson valley credit union which told me that they don’t know who services their own atm machines outside their building with their logo on it. They don’t even know when those machines get service or do they have the number to who services the machine.long story short mortgage was late and I had to waste time to get another card. Thanks for nothing hvcu . Will cancel

I give one star only cause 0 stars was not possible. Worst experience ever. Was there last night Friday the 13th go figure. My brother needed to open an account, and now I understand we were there late, my brother had already agrees to come back next week. But then we were told he could be helped. Bad mistake, my brother was rushed, he said he felt like he was being an inconvenience, felt rushed, didn't even felt comfortable asking questions. The person helping him was rude, he said it felt like she was being forced to help him. Didn't even help with setting up an online account. The check he needed to get cashed had a long long hold so he couldn't even get his money and he wasn't told this until at the end, if he knew, he wouldn't have done it.
It seems like Hudson Valley CU only cares about getting as many customers as possible and not really about giving quality service. Sad.

I do not recommend this bank and especially for mortgage loans. Me and my wife have been waiting over 3 weeks for the underwriters to complete our loan. Myself the buyer and the agents are frustrated because all the bank keeps telling us is that it's in final underwriting. It's gotten to the point where the agents are telling agents not to use Hudson valley credit Union this is unfortunate.

Very professional and courteous, I've used them for almost everything that you can use a bank for and they always perform. Friendly, respectful and genuinely thorough with a family feel. This is the way a bank should be, I will hopefully never have to do business with a big bank again. Recommended.

Back in 2019 , I had to file for bankruptcy, since then I've portrayed good standings with other banks and credit cards. I really wanted to become a member again at HVFCU but the guy I spoke to (which might I add was extremely rude and not sympathetic) stated I have to pay the balance off that happened 5 years ago that the bankruptcy took care off in order for me to return as a member. In his words" scotch free" This bank is not worth my time. I don't recommend this bank for anyone that went through a hard time and now on their feet wanting a Credit Union Bank.

Collections Department does not attempt to resolve issues with members, they literally steal your car in the middle of the night through fine print on unrelated past due credit card payments. You steal people's personal vehicles that have never missed a payment and than think somehow you will ever get paid on the past due credit card? Juvenile, fraudulent and illegal at all Federal Credit Unions. That's why they are just HVCU now.

I wouldn’t even give this bank a one star. By far the worst bank that I ever worked with and some of the employees are horrible with disrespectful customer service. BEWARE and I definitely don’t recommend to use them unless you want to be verbally abused !!!
