Community Bank, N.A., Ogdensburg, NY

I would not recommend community Bank for a loan especially a house mortgage. Because the process takes a lot longer then I feel that it should . Not sure if it’s their fault or if it’s just taking a while because there’s more Home loans being processed at this time. It would be nice if there was more communication from the loan officer to the customers/ agents .I feel like that would relieve some stress. Not sure if they just have too much on their hands ( too many customers getting loans through their bank with only one loan officer at that branch) or what. I have asked for a new loan officer an that request was overlooked I feel. But buying a house should be a joyful process not a headache nor very stressful one. I heard a lot of experiences from many different people about Community Bank in general not the specific branch ( not good ones ) but me being the person I am.I’m always willing to give a company a go and see for myself. Star levels Communication ⭐️ Customer service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Loan officer in general ⭐️⭐️ ^(wish the loan officer would give more information. Educate the customer on the process and generally the time frames things take) I personally don’t feel like i got that. I normally don’t leave reviews. When and if I do they usually get five stars but no comment. I don’t really need to say anything more the fact that this has really frustrated me and left at impact on my life. I need to let others know before they think about dealing with your bank. This review only reflects the branch in Ogdensburg on ford st. I have not personally experienced The other branches I have only heard about other branches.

I cannot stand the fact that the lobby closes by 3 pm. This makes it impossible to do business here.

Community Bank and their employees are professional, helpful and kind, especially Kim and Beth. I lost my debit card and Kim made a stressful situation go so smooth. Ty Kim!
