My wife and I just closed on home equity, from start to finish 3 weeks and the money is in our account. Amanda Ossont handled our closing and was amazing. We had to bring our disabled daughter to the closing due to circumstances beyond our control. Amanda was patient, understanding, and helpful so we could get the best possible option available. Don't do business with GPO if you can help it. Good interest rates are meaningless with high fees

I am recommend this credit unions for all your financial needed, they are Very Friendly to work with, both Yvonne and Stacy.

They don’t work with you even if you have emergency situations like Covid death in family and losing job.

My experience at GPO has been one of the most pleasant and encouraging interactions I have had with any financial institution ever. Dealing with people who are caring, efficient and always go the extra mile. The very first person I met was Spencer. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about Spencer. She walked me through a period of transition that was very difficult for me to adjust to not having to lived on my own for 47 years. With expert knowledge, much patience and genuine caring I felt thoroughly informed and wonderfully looked after. She was always ready to help no matter how many times I had to visit or call. I have already posted a review for Spencer which you can check out in this site. Kelly was the first teller I became acquainted with and I was immediately impressed with her expertise and friendly helpful attitude. She also has a great sense of humor and I always found myself leaving GPO with a smile on my face. Sydney was another really special person who again always went above and beyond. Her ability to solve my problems and answer my questions (without EVER making me feel like I was bothering her) was such a blessing. Last but not least, Amanda Ossont, the branch manager, goes above and beyond what is required. I’ve had the opportunity to work through a problem or two with her and I’m so impressed by her expertise, patience and caring. I wonder if when she has input to the hiring of new staff, if the first question she asks is, “ are you willing to go above and beyond to make our customers feel extra special and cared for?“ I feel it is so important in our society today to give people the credit they deserve when they are trying to make a difference in the lives of ordinary people who sometimes just need a little encouragement to brighten their day. I am 74 years old and have had experience with quite a few banks over the years. GPO at 2711 Genesee Street in New Hartford has by far been the very best experience I have ever had. I have had quite a few opportunities to be helped by Spencer Sierson, because in the last two years, it is the first time I have ever had to be on my own. She has been incredible. Extremely patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help in anyway she could. I cannot say enough about the invaluable service she and others have given to me at GPO.
