I am eternally grateful for the assistance and guidance that Jacques Laubert and his team demonstrated to me as a first time home buyer. They treat their clients with the dignity, professionalism and respect that they deserve. Jacques in particular was outstanding! As great as he is at what he does, his empathy and his patience were the qualities that I truly came to appreciate from him the most. In a business where many lenders come across as impatient, ill tempered, money hungry maniacs with no desire to educate and enlighten clients that are new to the home buying process, Jacques effortlessly shines like a star. In conclusion, Homestead Funding is run by an exceptional collection of talent that make the entire lending process a breeze with their thorough communication, high level of customer service, use of cutting edge technology and extensive expertise in their field. Jacques Laubert was definitely a key part of my home buying experience, if not THE key. He knew everything, and if he didn’t know, he gave me an idea, and also the contact information for the right person to speak to. He was also very quick to respond to my questions. I think the longest I had to wait was.. maybe three hours? And that’s because he was in Aruba and called my cellphone. Jacques has also got to be the most patient man on the planet, I emailed him at least 30 times and he never lost his patience with me, just always quick to respond and extremely helpful. Another thing I love about Jacques is he e-mails out helpful tips as to how to do certain things during the closing process, for example. I closed a week ago, and I just received a video on how to make my first mortgage payment. His job is done, and he’s still helping! I would not have traded him for anyone, I truly mean it.
