OneMain Financial, Watertown, NY

I’m grateful for receiving loan from OneMain Financial. Unfortunately, the ignorance of the executive customer service of Accepted for Value payments although accepting this legal form of payment has resulted in their being paid twice. They created a case number and haven’t returned the instrument of payment. I asked them to return instrument during initial phone call, and it wasn’t returned. During the phone call today @ approximately 1420, the representative offered to return the instrument of payment. It’s unfortunate that their unfamiliarity with this form of payment at their level employment is being denied. My payoff payment was to paid by my fiduciary from my bond. I recommend to all first responders, military, and veterans to boycott doing business with OneMain Financial.

Misleading (borderline lying) when you speak to them about loans. Claim you’re prequalified based on accurate information and documents uploaded, also told multiple times it was NOT a hard check and wouldn’t affect my credit, but not forthcoming about when you do submit the final time, the credit check is a hard pull. Told me I was good to go as soon as I uploaded the docs and now I’m out 10 points on my credit and in the same financial situation I was before. Don’t look to these people for help.

After walking in and getting stared at like I had no clothes on or something, I said hello to the lady at the front desk after staring at me for about 30 seconds... finally she tells me she'll be right with me. says on their website they do credit card cash advances. I walked in and asked for one and they had no idea what I was talking about even though it says on they're website. Looks like a tax service inside but it really really smells like Fly by Night fraud banking free much like the others that prey on the military here. So beware. If you walk into a so-called bank and they have no idea what a cash advance is...RUN!

Was preappoved and had a credit score that was good talk to the lady on the phone and she said all I needed was my tax forms so I brought them in and made more than enough to get loan and was denied this place sucks would not recommend going there they also dropped my score 10 points good job for nothing.

They need to stop telling me that im approved for a certain amount and then tell me I'm not get nothing I think it's a scam never again will I go through them they are a bunch of liars

Tried to get a loan with them. Got told I was approved on their online application but then got told I wasn't able to get the loan that I was denied because of my numbers. Its B.S.
