Applied for a auto loan Monday 06/06. Did not hear anything until I called Thursday 06/09. Was told by loan officer that we had lack of credit history so it would result in us needing a down payment on a vehicle to be approved, which made no sense as we’ve had active credit history for the last 8 years with no issues. After further look, they had confused my husbands credit with another OUCU member. I’ve left 2 calls and a email and still have not heard back from anyone in regards to the credit issue and how it got so horribly mixed up. Ended up going through a another financial institution for the loan and had no issues on getting approved.

I have been a member of the credit union for more than 30 years. Although I live elsewhere in Ohio, I've maintained my accounts and connections with them due to their knowledge, competitive interest rates, and tremendous customer service. Whenever I've needed to contact them, they've consistently been helpful. Highly recommend!

I love the Ohio University Credit Union! I've been a member since I was a kid, and they're always my first choice for anything financial. Particular shout-out to Sammi Johnson, who recently helped us with an auto loan. She was friendly, responsive and super knowledgeable, always happy to answer any questions we had. But everyone at the OUCU is great!

Very poor customer service. Recently sold a vehicle that had a loan with OUCU. The check was overnighted to pay the loan off, was told it would take 2-4 weeks before the check would be processed.

The OU Credit Union is always a great place to bank. They are helpful and kind. Also, if you take your dog through the drive thru they give them a treat. Nice touch but also helps to train your dog not to be afraid of all the noises!
