Don’t get a line of credit! They charge you like 25% and you have to pay it in a week or two depending on your payday. So it’s really a payday loan that effects your credit. Yes they do a credit check and it’s a hard pull. They call you constantly to remind you it’s due. They called me 3times the first week and I get paid bi weekly.

I decided to stop in to see if I’d be approved for a loan under $500. At first I was hesitant to speak to the cashier because she was kinda rude to a couple other people. When I walked up to the window she was very nice to me and explained everything well about my loan agreement. My loan is affordable and I’m happy that I can be able to pay them back timely and efficiently.

I love going into this store. Denee and Amanda are two very special young ladies. They always help me and make me feel comfortable when handling my business. Doing loans is never easy but when you have genuinely good people assisting you it makes you keep coming back. I've brought some friends in and they gave me $20 bucks per friend. Good Place. Good people.

Terrible. During this virus and I'm a truck driver, their system went down supposedly and they wouldn't give me my money. Explained to them I had deliveries, they didn't care. I had to go to 3 different places, was treated horribly and felt the black workers don't like white people. Took hours to get money. Couldn't do deliveries. Unamerican they just didn't care. They're not in with us during this. Went back to my place to pay rent. I was 5 hours late(thx checksmart) and the white employees said sorry for what you've been through, thanked me for what I do, and gave me a break on rent even. Now that's being in this together. Thank God for some good people that care.

Amanda always has a welcoming smile and is very attentive. Amanda is definitely the only reason, I continue to visit the downtown location! Check Smart you’re very fortunate to have such a great employee!!!
