OneMain Financial, Cortland, OH

Had an absolute horid experience here. I was assured several times that my re-finance with cash out would be complete. I provided all the requested documentation, and even after OneMain had to change the loan application to reflect one income instead of joint income, I was still assured that the loan would go through without any changes. As I waited in the office with my wife, I overheard the employees talking about their manager sleeping in his car out back, and that he would not answer his cell when they called to ask a question. Finally they went to get him to help them after 25 minutes of my wife and I waiting in the office over hearing One associate answer the phones, the other making collection calls, and the chatter about the manager being passed out in his car. Finally the manager comes in, and approves the loan while taking a call from what I am assuming a District Manager asking about the month. Last Month they loaned $114k and this month they needed $45k to hit their goal and should be on track if they can close what is scheduled. The associate helping my wife and I came in to explain (even after he said three times that it wouldn't change) that the cash out dropped $1,000 and that they would need additional information that did not exist to close the original loan. THE MANAGER NEVER came to talk to me. Never came to explain what the associate was explaining, didn't even try to save me as a long time customer of this same branch.

They were unbelievably fast in the processing and checking part of the procedure, and even faster in the approval and appropriation part. I had funds in less than 12 hours of my initial request...outstanding!!

Jeremy was wonderful. Very helpful. He.explained everything so that there were no "misunderstandings " or surprises. I am also happy that there is no early payoff penalty.

I went in to get a loan and was told that all I needed was a cosigner. I had one then they changed it up on me and told me I needed collateral as well. I wouldn't go here they are not honest at all.
